The CWU has undertaken the most democratic process of any Trade Union to agree our nomination for leader and deputy leader of The Labour Party.
A branch forum of over 500 frontline representatives voted overwhelmingly to nominate a Rebecca Long-Bailey for leader and Angela Rayner for deputy leader.
As part of this process we asked each candidate a set of questions and sought their written responses. We have decided to share these with the wider membership to help create the most informed debate possible.
Rebecca Long-Bailey is the stand out candidate in all areas including policy, work with trade unions, recognising the need to revolutionise the communication strategy and making the Labour Party more representative and relevant to the people it seeks to represent.
We clearly believe the statements support our decision to nominate both Rebecca and Angela.
Please help us get the information out as widely as possible by sharing the site link www.cwulabour.co.uk
